That is so cute! I make sandwich sushi for the kids sometimes, out of all different ingredients (peanut butter and jelly being the favorite). You probably already do this too, but for others, here is a link to the way I do it…so easy. I didn’t originally see it here, but this is where google led me when I was trying to find the original site I found it on.

THANK YOU! No, I’m not a sushi-sandwich maker, but I soon will be!! :*) Love it!
Go and get the Explorer. I can only imagine it will be a hit at your house, too. No deals, but I’ll check w/ my friends at LeapFrog to double–check and will let you know.
Well, in my neighborhood, they’d rather eat deer meat (blah) than sushi… but I love sushi (and candy). Maybe I can swing all of my guys into at least candy sushi eaters!! Thanks for sharing. Your post was really helpful and easy to follow for directions.
I love this idea!!! We live in Okinawa, Japan now and of course sushi is a ‘norm’. My husband and I love them. Our kids are beginning to try by eating one everytime we have them. lol But this will be a wonderful treat for birthday parties and I plan to make a batch for my son to bring to his Japanese school to surprise all his classmates and TEACHERS one day! Thanks.
Calyn!! SO cool of you to write–many, many thanks! PLEASE send a photo my way or link up on our facebook wall (http://www.facebook.com/teachmama) if you do make them!
Cheers, friend, and wishing you the best over there in Japan. xo

Thanks a ton for writing, and if you can’t get your troops to eat candy sushi, then they must be a tough group!
Happy holidays, my friend!
